How much is a service call?
Depending upon how far away you live from our shop depends upon how much. Our service calls start at $55. The service call gets us to the job site and covers any diagnostic time. Parts are not included in the service call.
How much is a new heating & cooling system?
System prices vary depending upon the size of equipment needed. It’s best to schedule a bid appointment so we can properly evaluate your needs.
What is SEER rating?
The SEER rating of an air conditioner or heat pump is the Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio. The higher the SEER, the more efficient the equipment is.
What is 2-stage heating & cooling?
Two-stage equipment means the air conditioner, heat pump or furnace has two levels of operation: high for high demand days and low for milder days. Since the low setting is adequate to meet household-heating/cooling demands 80% of the time, a two-stage unit runs for longer periods and produces more even temperatures.
Longer cooling cycles can translate to quieter, more efficient operation and enhanced humidity control. Compared to a single-stage unit, a two-stage air conditioner or heat pump can remove twice as much moisture from the air. This is important because when moisture levels are high, there’s a higher potential for mold and other pollutant problem
How often should I change my filter?
Again, depending upon what size and type of filter you have, will very upon the time frame. One inch thick filter should be changed every 1 to 3 months. Even pleated filters. Five inch thick filters can be changed every 6 to 12 months.
What is a filter’s MERV rating?
MERV stands for Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value. A higher the filters MERV rating equates to finer filtration, meaning fewer dust particles and other airborne contaminants can pass through the filter.

How is my Lennox rebate handled?
As part of our customer service, we will apply for your Lennox rebate for you. It will come to your home in a prepaid Visa debit card with in 6 to 8 weeks.
How is my Evergy rebate handled?
As part of our customer service, we will apply for you KCP&L rebate for you. Your rebate will come as a check to your home in about 4 to 6 weeks.
How is my Spire rebate handled?
Again, as a part of our customer service, we will apply for your Spire rebate for you. Your rebate will come as a check to your home in about 4 to 6 weeks.
How is my propane rebate handled?
Since each propane provider is different, we can’t apply for a propane rebate for you but you can contact your propane provider for more information.
How do I register my equipment for the extended warranty?
As a part of our customer service, we will register your equipment for you.
